Recently discussing with a young man on the oil and gas issues in Nigeria and around the world, his thoughts, spoken out, gave me second thoughts. Please read on.
He said the oil and gas industry is a good sector, though nothing comes with advantage without also disadvantages.
The Government in collaboration with the operators should implement better ways to reduce pollution if it can not be eliminated.
Praise is a chemical engineering student with prospect of working in the petrochemical sector . His advice to tertiary institutions across the country is for Government to enforce 1. compulsory excursion (especially engineering students) to different areas in the oil and industry most importantly
2. Workable industrial attachments
